In Phase 1, we grew a thriving community around learning and development.
In Phase 2, which will run from October 2026 to March 2028, we will build on this success, shifting our focus to:
· Industrial Enablement
· Policy Mobilisation
· High-priority growth sectors identified in the UK Modern Industrial Strategy (specifically Advanced Manufacturing and Clean Energy).
Principal Investigator Rachael Rothman, said:
“I’m very excited that the UK LCA Network has successfully secured funding from Innovate UK for phase 2. This will allow us to continue to grow our community, promote discussions and knowledge sharing, and form working groups to address government priorities around harmonisation, AI, emerging sectors, skills and SMEs. On 13 October we held a webinar to share our plans for phase 2 of the network, and explain how you can get involved. Click below to watch the recording.
If you’re interested in contributing directly to our planned research, then you can express your interest in joining any one of our eight new working groups. The form closes at 4:00pm on 20 October.
